The State Games of Mississippi is for you—the amateur athlete—and it has all of the thrills of an Olympic-style event! We invite you to enjoy our 20th Anniversary Opening Ceremonies on Friday, June 17, in downtown Meridian, complete with the parade of athletes, the lighting of the State Games torch and a spectacular fireworks display. Plus the Tip-Off Party with refreshments & jumpies!

• Meet real Olympians from the State of Mississippi who have competed all over the world!

Refreshment and entertainment booths open at 5:30 p.m.  The Parade of Athletes begins at 7:30 p.m., and the ceremonies conclude with fireworks at 8:30 p.m. Athletes should report to the Parade line-up location at 5:30 p.m.
