The 2009 State Games of Mississippi were a huge success and it would never have been possible without the help of hundreds of volunteers. To all of the directors, commissioners, coaches, parents, officials and hundreds of volunteers, we give one big THANK YOU for a job well done! And to all of the athletes who competed, congratulations on your great accomplishments.

The 19th annual State Games of Mississippi will host 29 sports throughout the month of June, 2010.  The 2010 State Games begin with High School All Star baseball tryouts on June 2 and conclude on June 27 with Cycling and Mountain Biking races.   Check on individual sports pages for details of schedules and locations.


Opening Ceremonies
Opening Ceremonies, complete with the Parade of Athletes, the lighting of the torch, and our fabulous fireworks show, will be June 18 in downtown Meridian.  This year the National Anthem will be sung by the winner of a statewide competition through the Mississippi High School Choral Association.  For information on how to enter this competition go to the Opening Ceremonies page.

Online Registration
We are excited this year to offer online registration.  When you register online, you will receive an immediate confirmation and will receive any updates on changes to schedules and venues automatically.  Registration will open for most sports on March 15.
